São José dos Campos, Brazil, February 18, 2025 – Embraer (NYSE: ERJ/B3: EMBR3), a global aerospace leader, is set to promote its Startup Marathon during Web Summit Rio 2025, scheduled for April 27–30 at Riocentro, Rio de Janeiro. The initiative aims to accelerate innovation by fostering collaboration between startups and industry experts, with a focus on artificial intelligence, machine learning, and emerging aviation technologies.
“Innovation is a strategic pillar at Embraer. Participating in an event like this, as well as holding our Marathon within the Web Summit, reinforces this objective through partnerships with startups whose challenge is to offer innovative technologies and potential disruption,” said Leonardo Garnica, Embraer’s corporate innovation leader.
To take part, startups must submit their applications by March 14, meeting the selection criteria of both Web Summit and Embraer. Shortlisted applicants will receive invitations by April 9 to join the competition.
