Wood Dale, Illinois – AAR CORP. (NYSE: AIR), a leading provider of aviation services for commercial and government operators, MROs, and OEMs, has expanded its Supplier Capabilities Contract with Defence Logistics Agency (DLA) Aviation to include the distribution of select Unison parts.
This multi-year agreement enhances AAR’s exclusive distribution capabilities for sole-source spare parts manufactured by Unison, supporting a wide range of military aircraft platforms. The company will provide integrated supply chain management, ensuring improved material availability and reducing supply volatility for the DLA.
AAR has a longstanding strategic relationship with the DLA. In 2022, it became the first non-OEM to secure a 20-year base Supplier Capabilities Contract, reinforcing its role in providing global supply chain support to the U.S. Department of Defense and its allies.
“AAR is proud to further grow our strategic partnership with the DLA through this new agreement,” said Frank Landrio, AAR’s Senior Vice President of Distribution. “Expanding our product offerings under our Supplier Capabilities Contract to include Unison’s proprietary parts will enhance the level of support we provide the U.S. government.”
