TWO BELL 429S TO ENHANCE ENTERGY’S POWERLINE PATROL FLEET 

Dallas, Texas (March 12, 2025) – Bell Textron Inc., a Textron Inc. (NYSE: TXT) company, has announced the purchase agreement for two Bell 429 helicopters by Entergy Services, LLC. The agreement, revealed at VAI Verticon 2025, reinforces Entergy’s commitment to enhancing its aerial capabilities for powerline inspections.

Entergy, a leading integrated energy company, supplies electricity to 3 million customers across Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, and Texas. The acquisition of the Bell 429s will strengthen its operational resilience, particularly in maintaining infrastructure and responding to natural disasters.

 

Optimised for Powerline Inspections

Lane Evans, Managing Director of North America at Bell, emphasized the advantages of the aircraft:
