EVE AIR MOBILITY, AEROSOLUTIONS, AND BLUENEST JOIN FORCES TO LAUNCH EVTOL SERVICES IN COSTA RICA

MELBOURNE, Fla – 30 June 2025 – Eve Air Mobility (NYSE: EVEX; EVEXW) has signed a landmark Letter of Intent (LOI) with Aerosolutions and Bluenest by Globalvia for the sale of up to 50 electric vertical take-off and landing (eVTOL) aircraft, along with access to Eve’s integrated TechCare services. The agreement represents a significant advancement in establishing a sustainable and connected Advanced Air Mobility (AAM) ecosystem in Costa Rica.

Aerosolutions, through its emerging eVTOL operator Aeros Electric Airlines, and Bluenest, Globalvia’s AAM infrastructure and vertiport development unit, will collaborate with Eve to launch regional eVTOL services aimed at transforming travel across Costa Rica’s Pacific region—particularly Guanacaste, a hub for high-end resorts and ecotourism.

“Joining forces with Aerosolutions and Bluenest by Globalvia allows us to accelerate the introduction of safe, sustainable, and efficient air mobility in Costa Rica,” said Johann Bordais, CEO of Eve Air Mobility. “We’re eager to see our eVTOL transform travel in regions like Guanacaste, easing congestion and bolstering the nation’s leadership in ecotourism.”

The project will begin with 20–50 km routes linking airports with tourist destinations, offering an efficient alternative to Costa Rica’s often congested roadways. With over three million annual foreign visitors, Costa Rica leads Central America in tourism, and the new air taxi service is expected to significantly improve both local and tourist mobility.

Megha Bhatia, Chief Commercial Officer at Eve Air Mobility, added: “This agreement marks a pivotal step in transforming regional air mobility for partners like Aerosolutions. By integrating our eVTOL aircraft and TechCare services into their operations, they can offer faster, more efficient, and more sustainable travel options. It’s not just a smarter way to travel—it’s a bold leap into the future of connected, regional transportation.”

Aerosolutions CEO Antonio Mota noted, “This partnership with Eve Air Mobility and Bluenest by Globalvia is a significant leap forward for Costa Rica’s commitment to sustainable tourism. These eVTOLs will reduce travel times and congestion in key tourist regions like Guanacaste and reinforce the nation’s reputation as a global leader in eco-friendly innovation.”

Bluenest will oversee vertiport development and operational readiness, building on its March 2024 testing of real vertiport operations at Liberia Airport and Reserva Conchal. The infrastructure will incorporate Eve’s Urban Air Traffic Management (UATM) software, Vector, as demonstrated at Airspace World in Lisbon.

“By developing cutting-edge vertiports, we are enabling safe and efficient eVTOL operations, contributing to Costa Rica’s green agenda, and laying the groundwork for a truly interconnected and eco-conscious future of travel,” said Jose Ignacio Rodriguez, Bluenest Managing Director.

Eve’s eVTOL aircraft features a lift+cruise configuration with eight dedicated vertical propellers and fixed wings for horizontal flight. An electric pusher, powered by dual motors, enhances redundancy and safety. The aircraft is currently undergoing rigorous prototype testing to validate its performance and reliability ahead of commercial deployment.

The agreement also includes collaborative workshops addressing vertiport design, airspace integration, pilot training, and certification—critical foundations for the successful roll-out of eVTOL operations in the region.
