INFINITY FLIGHT GROUP EXPANDS SKYHAWK FLEET IN CONTINUED TRAINING INVESTMENT

WICHITA, Kan. – 25 July 2025 – Infinity Flight Group has strengthened its position as a leading U.S. flight training provider with the acquisition of 10 additional Cessna 172 Skyhawks, bringing its total Skyhawk orders over the past three years to 35. The aircraft, manufactured by Textron Aviation, are expected to join Infinity’s fleet in 2027.

With a current operational base of 65 Skyhawks flying out of Trenton-Mercer Airport, New Jersey, and Treasure Coast Airport, Florida, the addition of these aircraft will further support the company’s training capacity as demand for pilot instruction continues to rise.

A certified Cessna Pilot Center, Infinity Flight Group has built its reputation on reliable training delivery supported by a proven aircraft platform. The Cessna 172 Skyhawk, recognised as the world’s most-produced aircraft, continues to be the mainstay of general aviation training globally. Known for its high-wing design, ease of use, and robust handling, the Skyhawk remains the aircraft of choice for both ab-initio students and recreational pilots.

Chris Crow, vice president of Piston Sales at Textron Aviation, commented: “The Cessna Skyhawk sets the standard in reliability and performance. Organizations like Infinity Flight Group continue to place trust in this industry-leading aircraft, which is ideal for both student pilots and private owners.”

The new aircraft will be equipped with Textron Aviation’s recently announced dual electronic ignition system (dual EIS), which enhances operational efficiency, reduces maintenance requirements, and improves engine performance. This development reflects the company’s ongoing investment in modernising piston platforms.

Textron Aviation is also marking a major milestone this year: the 70th anniversary of the Cessna 172 Skyhawk. Since its maiden flight in June 1955, the Skyhawk has remained at the forefront of aviation training and continues to evolve with advanced systems and avionics—evidence of its enduring legacy and ongoing relevance in a rapidly changing industry.
