Avolon, a leading global aviation finance company, has confirmed that its order for 75 Airbus A321neo and 15 A330neo aircraft is now unconditional, following shareholder approval from Bohai Leasing Co., Ltd., which holds a 70% stake in the company. The deal, first announced on 24 July 2025, strengthens Avolon’s position in both the single-aisle and widebody markets.
With this approval, Avolon will expand its portfolio to meet growing airline demand for fuel-efficient and versatile aircraft types. The additional A321neo and A330neo orders are expected to support customer fleet renewal and network expansion strategies across global markets.
Avolon works with 142 airlines in 60 countries and, as of 30 June 2025—pro forma for the new Airbus order—has an owned, managed, and committed fleet of 1,166 aircraft. The company emphasises long-term investment strategies, risk diversification, and efficient capital management to maintain a robust balance sheet.
