Los Angeles, CA — Archer Aviation has been named the exclusive Air Taxi Partner for the Los Angeles Sports & Entertainment Commission (LASEC), marking a significant step in the company’s plans to establish electric air mobility across Southern California. As part of the agreement, Archer will serve as an Official Los Angeles World Cup 2026 Host City Supporter and an Official Partner for the Super Bowl LXI Host Committee.
The partnership positions Archer at the heart of Los Angeles’ preparations for a historic run of global sporting events, including the FIFA World Cup™ 2026, Super Bowl LXI, and the LA28 Olympic Games. Through these collaborations, Archer aims to demonstrate the role that electric vertical take-off and landing (eVTOL) aircraft can play in transforming urban transport and alleviating the region’s notorious traffic congestion.
“With so many iconic events on the horizon, we’re proud to partner with Archer to highlight the future of urban air mobility and the unique experience it can provide for visitors to Los Angeles,” said Kathryn Schloessman, President and CEO of LASEC and CEO of the Los Angeles World Cup 2026 Host Committee. “Archer’s Midnight aircraft presents game-changing technology that can help transform the way people get around Los Angeles while reinforcing the city’s role as a global leader in forward-thinking, transformative experiences.”
Archer’s Midnight aircraft is designed to provide quiet, safe, and sustainable air taxi flights that replace long car journeys across the congested Los Angeles basin. The partnership with LASEC will see the company engage with community leaders, local government, and residents to raise awareness of eVTOL technology and prepare the groundwork for the launch of its air taxi services ahead of the 2028 Olympic Games.
Archer’s Founder and CEO, Adam Goldstein, will join the ChampionLA Core Leadership Group, while Chief Marketing Officer Miles Rogers will sit on the LASEC Advisory Board, ensuring the company contributes strategically to shaping the mobility vision for major Los Angeles events.
“Los Angeles is about to host some of the most iconic events in the world and we’re honoured to join LASEC in support of the mission to ensure those events leave a lasting legacy that benefits the community for decades to come,” said Goldstein.
With vertiport sites already under development and strong partnerships with airlines and infrastructure providers, Archer is positioning itself to make air taxis a reality for both residents and visitors in the coming years.
