Aviator Airport Services Finland, part of the Aviator Airport Alliance — a full-range aviation services provider operating across 15 Nordic airports — has renewed its partnership with Turkish Airlines for ground handling services at Helsinki Airport.
The collaboration between the two companies began in 2023, covering approximately 60 flights per month. Under the renewed agreement, Aviator Finland will continue to deliver comprehensive ground handling support, including passenger and ramp handling, as well as de-icing operations.
Kimmo Holopainen, Managing Director at Aviator Finland, highlighted the significance of the renewal:
“Successful contract renewals are among the best indicators of the strength of Aviator in the highly competitive ground handling market. I am confident that our continuing drive to go the extra mile for our customers in providing efficient and high-quality services is the key to success. The continuation of our partnership with Turkish Airlines further strengthens Aviator Finland’s position as the market leader at Helsinki Airport.”
Aviator Airport Alliance and Turkish Airlines first joined forces in 2012 when the airline became one of Aviator’s inaugural clients at Copenhagen Airport. The partnership has since expanded across the Nordic region, including to Helsinki in 2023.
Turkish Airlines, known for its exceptional on-time performance, achieved a record-high departure punctuality rate in 2025 — a reflection of its high operational standards and expectations of its ground handling partners.
