Embraer highlights its long-standing sustainability strategy at COP30, joining key discussions on emission reduction, transport decarbonisation, and the role of education in ecological transformation.
São José dos Campos (SP), Brazil, November 13, 2025 – Embraer, a pioneer in sustainable aviation, is reinforcing its commitment to reducing greenhouse gas emissions as global leaders gather for COP30, the 30th UN Climate Change Conference. The company will participate in three official panels across the Blue and Green Zones this weekend, focusing on aviation decarbonisation and sustainable development through education.
Representing Embraer is André Tachard, the company’s Head of ESG, who will be in Belém, Pará, on Saturday (15 November). His first engagement is scheduled for 12:30 pm in the Green Zone, where the panel “From PROBIOQAV to the Decarbonisation of the Aviation Sector” will examine pathways for mitigating emissions across the industry.
Emission reduction remains a central theme in the later panel, “Multiple Solutions for Transport Decarbonisation,” which takes place at 4:15 pm in the Blue Zone. The session will explore a range of strategies aimed at accelerating progress toward cleaner, more efficient transport systems.
At 3:00 pm in the Blue Zone, Embraer will share its perspective on the panel “Innovative Universities – Connecting Universities and Companies for Ecological Transformation.” The company will highlight the synergies between academic research and industry, reflecting a history deeply rooted in educational investment since its founding. Today, these collaborations continue through active partnerships with research centres, supporting the development of new technologies and sustainable solutions.
