New travel solution allows African travellers to explore multiple Southeast Asian destinations on a single ticket, with flexible itineraries and seamless connections.
Johannesburg, South Africa – 28 November 2025 – Emirates has launched the Emirates Asia Pass, offering travellers from select African markets streamlined access to multiple destinations across Southeast Asia in a single booking. The pass is available to customers in South Africa, Kenya, Senegal, Uganda, Tunisia, Côte d’Ivoire, Guinea, Congo, Tanzania, and Egypt.
Â
With the Emirates Asia Pass, travellers can customise itineraries across Thailand, Indonesia, Vietnam, Malaysia, Cambodia, Singapore, and Laos under one ticket. The pass allows for one to ten flights within the region, giving passengers the freedom to explore tranquil beaches, vibrant cities, and rich cultural landmarks, even revisiting the same city within a single journey.
Â
Bookings can be made alongside an Emirates international flight arriving in Cambodia, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam, or Laos. Tickets are available directly through Emirates’ website, contact centres, retail offices, or travel agents, eliminating the need for multiple tickets with different airlines.
Â
Popular gateways such as Singapore, Bangkok, and Kuala Lumpur serve as ideal starting points, with onward connections operated in partnership with Bangkok Airways and Batik Air Malaysia. Emirates-operated flights also connect Thailand with Vietnam and Cambodia, further expanding travel options across the region.
Â
Travellers benefit from enhanced flexibility, with the option to modify flights included in the pass for a nominal fee of USD 15 per change. The Emirates Asia Pass simplifies multi-city travel planning, allowing passengers to create bespoke journeys across Southeast Asia with convenience and ease.
