Airbus delivered 793 commercial aircraft in 2025, achieving a record backlog of 8,754 aircraft and strong global demand for single-aisle and widebody jets.
Toulouse, January 2026 – Airbus closed 2025 with a total of 793 commercial aircraft deliveries, up 4% on the previous year, reinforcing the company’s position in a dynamic and complex aviation market. The manufacturer registered 1,000 new gross orders from 57 customers, including 49 A220s, 656 A320s, 100 A330neos, two A330 MRTTs and 193 A350s.
The year-end backlog reached a new record of 8,754 aircraft, highlighting strong global demand across Airbus’ single-aisle and widebody portfolios. Widebody orders alone accounted for 1,124 aircraft, underscoring the sustained interest in larger long-haul models. Airbus maintained a healthy book-to-bill ratio above one in 2025, signalling continued growth momentum.
“Despite operating in a complex global environment, Airbus maintained an upward delivery trajectory in 2025,” the company said. “The year included several landmark deliveries and welcomed new operators of the A220, A321XLR, A330neo and A350-1000 across all regions.”
Deliveries by aircraft family for 2025 were: A220 – 93, A320 – 607, A330 – 36 and A350 – 57. This compares with 766 aircraft delivered in 2024 and 735 in 2023, reflecting a steady increase in production rates and customer uptake.
Airbus’ consistent performance demonstrates both strong market confidence in its aircraft portfolio and the company’s ability to meet global airline demand, while repeat orders and new customers across single-aisle and widebody programmes highlight its broad market reach.
Airbus’ full-year 2025 financial results are scheduled for release on 19 February 2026.
