Safran has once again been recognised among the world’s most innovative companies, securing a place in Clarivate’s Top 100 Global Innovators ranking for the 13th time. The 2026 ranking places Safran 45th globally, reaffirming the Group’s long-standing focus on research, development and technological excellence.

 

The Top 100 Global Innovators ranking, compiled annually by Clarivate, has for the past 15 years served as a global benchmark for innovation performance. The assessment is based on four core criteria: the volume of patents filed, the quality of those patents, their international reach, and their influence within the relevant industries.

 

Safran said the repeated recognition reflects the consistency of its innovation strategy and its sustained investment in advanced technologies. Research and development remain central to the Group’s long-term approach, supporting both industrial competitiveness and the development of new technological solutions.
