BAE SYSTEMS EXPANDS UTAH FOOTPRINT WITH NEW OFFICE OPENING

BAE Systems opens a new Utah office to support ICBM sustainment and modernisation, strengthening local workforce development and innovation in the defence and technology sector.

BAE Systems has announced the opening of a new office in Utah, expanding the company’s presence in the state and reinforcing its continued investment in the local workforce, economy and innovation ecosystem.

Located just north of Salt Lake City, the new facility will support Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM) sustainment and modernisation activities. The site will provide a dedicated workspace for engineering, digital transformation and mission operations teams. The expansion reflects BAE Systems’ long-term commitment to supporting critical national security missions conducted in Utah, while strengthening collaboration with local partners.

Jenn Galloway, Integration Support Contract Director at BAE Systems, said Utah has developed into a strong centre for innovation and skilled talent. She noted that the new office represents continued investment in the people and capabilities required to support mission delivery, while helping to maintain readiness for strategic deterrence.

The expansion also reflects BAE Systems’ ongoing commitment to the state and its workforce. The company has been recognised for the eighth consecutive year as one of The Salt Lake Tribune’s Top Workplaces, based on employee feedback relating to organisational culture, engagement and satisfaction. The new facility is expected to contribute to ongoing innovation and support growth within the region’s defence and technology sectors.

The opening of the new location was marked by a ribbon-cutting ceremony held on Wednesday, 28 January 2026, attended by company leadership and community partners.
