YINGLING AVIATION INSTALLS COLLINS AEROSPACE HIGH-DEFINITION VENUE™ CABIN MANAGEMENT SYSTEM FIRST

Installation expands Yingling’s advanced cabin technology capabilities for mid- to large-cabin business aircraft.

Yingling Aviation has completed the installation of its first Collins Aerospace High-Definition Venue™ Cabin Management System, expanding the company’s capability in advanced cabin technology for mid- to large-cabin business aircraft.

The Venue cabin management system is installed on more than 1,800 factory-delivered and aftermarket aircraft worldwide and is widely regarded as a leading solution in the sector. While this marks Yingling Aviation’s first Venue installation, the project was supported by an experienced team that has completed dozens of similar installations. Collins Aerospace provided onsite support during initial power-up and testing to support system performance verification.

Josh Peterson, Regional Sales Manager and Avionics specialist at Yingling Aviation, said collaboration with Collins Aerospace helped streamline the installation and testing process. He noted that Collins’ Cedar Rapids-based onsite testing capability allows customers to evaluate system performance prior to aircraft delivery.

A key feature of the system is Collins Aerospace’s Airshow® HD moving map software, which provides passengers with a high-definition, real-time display of aircraft position, weather conditions and arrival information during flight. According to Yingling Aviation, when combined with the Venue mobile application, the system also enables real-time aircraft awareness for customers.

The Venue system modernises the cabin environment through upgraded high-definition displays, enhanced entertainment capability and touchscreen passenger controls. For operators managing legacy or unsupported cabin systems, the platform offers a long-term solution designed to support continued aircraft operation while enhancing passenger experience and aircraft value.

With the first Venue installation completed, Yingling Aviation stated that it continues to focus on delivering cabin upgrades through technical capability, collaboration with original equipment manufacturers and customer-focused service delivery.

Yingling Aviation, headquartered in Wichita, Kansas, provides full-service MRO solutions across maintenance, modifications, avionics upgrades and interior refurbishment for a wide range of business aircraft types. The company employs more than 300 staff and operates across more than 500,000 square feet of facilities, supporting both scheduled maintenance and aircraft-on-ground (AOG) requirements.
