Embraer signs a service agreement to support the Hungarian Air Force’s C-390 Millennium fleet, providing maintenance, logistics and technical services to support multi-mission operations.
Singapore, February 2026 — Embraer has signed a service agreement to support the Hungarian Air Force’s C-390 Millennium fleet, providing maintenance, logistical and technical support through the company’s European services footprint.
Â
The agreement continues the partnership between Embraer and the Hungarian Air Force, supporting operational readiness of the multi-mission aircraft fleet.
Â
In November 2025, Hungary, the second NATO operator of the C-390, became the first nation to receive all contracted aircraft, with two units now in service. Since entering service in late 2024, the first Hungarian aircraft has completed a wide range of missions, achieving a completion rate above 99%.
Â
Douglas Lobo, Vice President Customer Support and Aftermarket Sales at Embraer Services & Support, said the agreement supports the long-term operational performance of the fleet through comprehensive support services. He noted the aircraft’s demonstrated reliability and versatility, with continued collaboration expected to support current and future mission requirements.
Â
The C-390 Millennium is designed to perform both military and civilian missions. These include medical evacuation, humanitarian operations, search and rescue, cargo and troop transport, precision cargo airdrops, paratrooper deployment and air-to-air refuelling.
Â
Hungary’s aircraft are the first globally to feature a modular roll-on/roll-off medical Intensive Care Unit, expanding the platform’s operational flexibility in medical response missions.
