AERO South Africa 2026 will feature two dedicated industry engagement platforms: an inaugural Safety Symposium powered by PilotInsure and the first South Africa Customer Connect event hosted by Pratt & Whitney Canada.
The initiatives form part of the exhibition’s broader focus on operational standards and stakeholder engagement within the general aviation sector.
SAFETY SYMPOSIUM POWERED BY PILOTINSURE
The Safety Symposium powered by PilotInsure forms part of PilotInsure’s 2026 annual safety engagement calendar and reflects the company’s ongoing commitment to promoting aviation safety awareness.
PilotInsure has partnered with AERO South Africa to present the symposium at Africa’s leading general aviation exhibition. The event will bring together pilots, industry professionals and safety advocates to discuss operational safety across the sector.
The programme has been designed by pilots for pilots and will address practical challenges specific to the Southern African flying environment. Organisers indicate that attendees can expect expert speakers, interactive sessions and discussions aimed at strengthening knowledge sharing and collaboration within the general aviation community.
PRATT & WHITNEY CANADA TO HOST CUSTOMER CONNECT
The Pratt & Whitney Canada South Africa Customer Connect Event will take place on 11 June 2026 at Lanseria International Airport. The session will run from 13:00 to 17:00, followed by a social engagement from 17:00 to 19:00.
Scheduled alongside AERO South Africa 2026, the event will provide operators, owners, maintenance organisations and other industry stakeholders with direct access to Pratt & Whitney Canada’s regional leadership and technical representatives.
The programme will include product updates, service support information and an interactive forum intended to strengthen industry relationships within the Southern African market.
According to organisers, hosting the event in conjunction with AERO South Africa highlights Pratt & Whitney Canada’s continued engagement with the region and its operator base.
