GLOBAL CERTIFICATION MILESTONE
Embraer has announced that its Praetor 600E has achieved triple certification from Brazil’s Agência Nacional de Aviação Civil (ANAC), the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), and the European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA).
The certification confirms the aircraft’s compliance with international safety and performance standards, clearing the way for global entry into service.
The Praetor 600E was unveiled in February 2026 alongside the Praetor 500E as the first evolution of the Praetor business jet family.
PERFORMANCE AND RANGE
The super-midsize jet offers an intercontinental range of 4,018 nautical miles (7,441 km) with four passengers and NBAA IFR reserves, enabling nonstop connections on routes such as London–New York and São Paulo–Miami.
This positions the aircraft competitively within the long-range segment of the super-midsize market.
CABIN AND TECHNOLOGY UPGRADES
The Praetor 600E introduces a redesigned cabin environment, incorporating new seating, an updated cabin management system, and enhanced connectivity features.
A key addition is Embraer’s Smart Window™, a 42-inch 4K OLED touchscreen interface that integrates video conferencing, media streaming, and external camera views. The system allows passengers to interact with real-time visuals from outside the aircraft, adding a new layer of situational awareness and in-flight functionality.
The cabin can also be configured with a divan opposite the Smart Window™, supporting both work and leisure use.
AVIONICS AND OPERATIONAL CAPABILITY
The aircraft is equipped with a full fly-by-wire system with active turbulence reduction, alongside the Embraer Enhanced Vision System (E2VS) and Runway Overrun Awareness and Alerting System (ROAAS).
These systems are designed to reduce pilot workload, improve situational awareness, and expand operational access to more challenging airports.
PROGRAMME OUTLOOK
Embraer Executive Jets indicated that customer demand for the Praetor 600E has been strong since launch.
The Praetor 500E is expected to achieve triple certification by the end of 2026, with deliveries for both aircraft scheduled to begin in 2029.
