HONEYWELL UNVEILS NEW BRAND IDENTITIES AHEAD OF AEROSPACE SPIN-OFF

Honeywell has announced new brand identities for its automation and aerospace businesses ahead of the planned spin-off of Honeywell Aerospace into a separate publicly traded company on 29 June 2026.

CHARLOTTE, NORTH CAROLINA – Honeywell has announced the new brand identities that will be adopted by its automation and aerospace businesses following the planned separation of the two operations into independent publicly traded companies on 29 June 2026.

Under the new structure, the automation business will operate as Honeywell Technologies, while the aerospace business will become Honeywell Aerospace. Both companies will continue to build on the Honeywell brand, which the company says has a history spanning more than 140 years.

Two focused businesses

Honeywell Technologies will continue trading on the Nasdaq under the ticker HON. The company said its focus will be on supporting the industrial sector’s transition from automation to autonomy through a portfolio of technologies, software and operational solutions designed to improve productivity and business performance.

Honeywell Aerospace will trade separately under the ticker HONA and will operate as an independent aerospace supplier. The company stated that it will continue to focus on aerospace technologies and systems, with particular emphasis on advancing aircraft electrification and autonomous flight capabilities.

Preparing for independence

Honeywell described the announcement as a milestone in the process of creating two standalone organisations with distinct strategic priorities and growth objectives.

Vimal Kapur, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Honeywell, said the new identities are intended to reflect both companies’ individual strategic direction while maintaining a connection to Honeywell’s long-established heritage.

According to Honeywell, the aerospace business will emerge as one of the largest publicly traded pure-play aerospace suppliers, supported by established positions across multiple aviation technology sectors.

Focus on future aviation technologies

The company said Honeywell Aerospace will continue developing technologies aimed at supporting the future of aviation, including solutions related to electrification and autonomous flight operations.

The spin-off is scheduled to take effect on 29 June 2026, at which point Honeywell Technologies and Honeywell Aerospace will begin operating as separate public companies.
