INTERLNKD LAUNCHES NEXORA TO EXPAND INFLIGHT ANCILLARY REVENUE OPPORTUNITIES

InterLnkd has launched NEXORA, a new platform designed to help airlines and inflight connectivity providers generate ancillary revenue through personalised onboard offers and services.

InterLnkd has introduced NEXORA, a new ancillary commerce platform designed to help airlines and inflight connectivity providers generate additional revenue by presenting personalised offers to passengers during flights.

The UK-based travel technology company unveiled the solution on 4 June 2026, positioning it as an ancillary sales layer that can operate within both full inflight Wi-Fi environments and closed onboard networks.

Designed for onboard passenger engagement

NEXORA extends the technology underpinning InterLnkd’s AirMall inflight retail platform and broadens its application to a wider range of ancillary products and services. The platform combines offers from InterLnkd’s merchant network with those of airline and connectivity partners, presenting them through a single curated stream.

Rather than displaying a static catalogue of products and services, the system uses passenger and journey-related data points such as route, cabin class, loyalty status, dwell time and arrival window to rank and prioritise offers that are most likely to generate engagement and conversion.

Focus on ancillary revenue growth

According to InterLnkd, the platform has been developed to help airlines and inflight connectivity providers capture a greater share of ancillary spending by travellers during the flight phase of the journey.

Barry Klipp, Chief Executive Officer of InterLnkd, said the company’s objective was to help partners transform onboard passenger attention into a commercial opportunity through improved offer curation and personalisation.

The platform continuously evaluates offer performance, ranking and refining content based on expected revenue generation and passenger response.

Multiple ancillary categories supported

NEXORA launches with a range of pre-integrated ancillary categories, including retail, experiences, events, dining, airport services, transport, connectivity products and accommodation. The platform’s curation engine ranks, deduplicates and personalises offers across these categories before presenting them to passengers.

The solution has been designed to accommodate a variety of commercial arrangements and can operate using either InterLnkd’s supplier network or those already established by airline and connectivity partners. It is also compatible with different onboard connectivity models, including aircraft equipped with full inflight internet access and those operating closed onboard networks.

In addition to revenue generated from customer conversions, the platform supports promoted placements and sponsored offers, providing operators with additional revenue opportunities.

Travel technology focus

InterLnkd describes itself as a provider of ancillary revenue solutions for the travel sector, offering white-label technologies that enable airlines, travel providers and inflight connectivity partners to present personalised commercial offers to travellers before departure and during flights.

The company has received industry recognition through a number of aviation and travel technology awards and was named a PhocusWire Hot 25 Travel Startup for 2025.
