EXECUJET MRO SERVICES BELGIUM RECEIVES EASA AND FAA APPROVAL FOR FALCON 6X LINE AND HEAVY MAINTENANCE

ExecuJet MRO Services Belgium has received EASA and FAA approval to perform line and heavy maintenance on the Dassault Falcon 6X, completing what the company describes as full international certification across all in-production Falcon types and expanding the MRO GoTeam’s AOG support coverage to the aircraft.

DUAL REGULATORY APPROVAL COMPLETES IN-PRODUCTION FALCON PORTFOLIO COVERAGE

ExecuJet MRO Services Belgium has been approved by both the European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) and the United States Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) to carry out line and heavy maintenance on the Dassault Falcon 6X. Additionally, the civil aviation authorities of Bermuda, Aruba and Guernsey have certified the company to perform the same scope of work on the type. The Dassault MRO GoTeam approval held by ExecuJet MRO Services Belgium has also been expanded to include Aircraft on Ground (AOG) support for the Falcon 6X, extending the rapid response capability available to operators of the type across the company’s European and global coverage area.

Matthijs Hutsebaut, Regional Vice President for Europe at ExecuJet MRO Services, said that with EASA and FAA being the world’s two most internationally recognised civil aviation regulators, the approval was significant as it meant ExecuJet MRO Services Belgium was now internationally certified to carry out line and heavy maintenance on all in-production Falcon aircraft types. He added that with more than 30 Falcon 6X business jets already operating worldwide, demand for maintenance and support services was continuing to grow, and that combined with OEM-backed expertise and AOG capabilities, the approval enabled the company to provide Falcon 6X operators with comprehensive support and world-class maintenance services.

THE FALCON 6X AND ITS OPERATIONAL PROFILE

The Falcon 6X is Dassault Aviation’s newest aircraft currently in production and is positioned as a flagship product in the company’s business jet range. With a range of 5,500 nautical miles, the aircraft is capable of non-stop operations from London to destinations across North America, Africa, the Middle East and Asia. ExecuJet MRO Services is a wholly owned subsidiary of Dassault Aviation and operates world-class MRO facilities across Africa, Asia, Australasia, Europe and the Middle East, covering airframe, avionics and engine maintenance across Dassault, Bombardier, Embraer, Gulfstream, Hawker and other types. The Belgium facility now holds the broadest regulatory approval within the ExecuJet network for the complete Dassault in-production portfolio.
