EMBRAER LAUNCHES PHENOM 300EV AS LARGEST BUSINESS JET WITH EMERGENCY AUTOLAND AND EXTENDS WORLD’S BEST-SELLING LIGHT JET RECORD

Embraer has launched the Phenom 300EV — the latest evolution of the world’s best-selling light jet for 14 consecutive years — adding Garmin Emergency Autoland as a class-exclusive first, alongside an extended range of 2,055 nautical miles, increased payload, factory-fitted LEO connectivity and a suite of cabin and operational enhancements.

PHENOM 300EV BECOMES LARGEST BUSINESS JET WITH EMERGENCY AUTOLAND CAPABILITY

Embraer has announced the Phenom 300EV at its Melbourne, Florida campus, the latest evolution of the Phenom 300 series, which has been the world’s best-selling light jet for 14 consecutive years. The ‘EV’ designation stands for Evolution, reflecting what Embraer describes as a purposeful approach to delivering innovations that enhance safety, simplify operations and increase performance value. The most headline-generating feature is the integration of Garmin Emergency Autoland, making the Phenom 300EV the largest business jet in the world to offer the system — a fully automated landing capability that activates in the event of pilot incapacitation, navigating the aircraft to the nearest suitable airport, communicating with ATC and executing the approach and landing without crew input.

Michael Amalfitano, President and Chief Executive of Embraer Executive Jets, said the Phenom 300 series had set the standard by which every light jet was measured for well over a decade, and that its position as category leader reflected the company’s relentless commitment to delivering unmatched performance, technology, comfort and support. He said the Phenom 300EV raised the bar again through purposeful innovations combining enhanced safety technology, amplified performance and thoughtful cabin refinements, describing it as not only the evolution of the world’s best-selling light jet but a clear statement that market leadership excellence continued to belong to Embraer. Deliveries of the Phenom 300EV are expected to begin in 2028.

AVIONICS SUITE: FROM AUTOLAND TO RUNWAY AWARENESS

The safety and avionics enhancements of the Phenom 300EV go well beyond Emergency Autoland. A new Embraer-developed Multi-Purpose Electronic Controller (MEC) integrates rudder-by-wire and other electronically controlled aircraft functions, enabling both the Autoland and the class-exclusive Autobrake system — which supports landings and take-offs with additional safety and comfort — while contributing to reduced pilot workload and simplified maintenance. The Garmin G3000 Prodigy Touch avionics suite is updated with 3D Taxiway Routing and Runway Occupancy Awareness, synthetic vision guidance system (SVGS), FANS 1/A+, RNP AR 0.3 and an inertial reference system (IRS), complementing existing features including the Runway Overrun Awareness and Alerting System (ROAAS), Autothrottle and Emergency Descent Mode.

PERFORMANCE: EXTENDED RANGE AND INCREASED PAYLOAD

On the performance side, the Phenom 300EV achieves an extended range of up to 2,055 nautical miles and introduces an increase in maximum zero fuel weight that adds approximately 430 pounds of payload capacity relative to the current Phenom 300E. New True Blue Power lithium-ion batteries and LED taxi and landing lights are introduced to support improved reliability and dispatch performance. The aircraft retains its position as the fastest and furthest-flying light jet in its category, with the range extension reinforcing mission flexibility on longer domestic and transatlantic-adjacent routes.

CABIN: LEO CONNECTIVITY, VACUUM LAVATORY AND AIR IONISATION

The Phenom 300EV introduces factory-fitted worldwide connectivity via Low Earth Orbit satellites through Gogo Galileo, with Starlink connectivity also available as an aftermarket Supplemental Type Certificate solution — giving operators flexible access to two of the leading LEO connectivity platforms. Cabin refinements include an odourless vacuum lavatory, improved cabin temperature control, a redesigned refreshment centre with flexibility to incorporate a hot beverage machine, and an air ionisation system. The aircraft continues to offer a maximum cabin altitude of 6,600 feet, one of the largest baggage compartments in the light jet category, the largest windows in class, and a robust entry airstair inspired by larger-cabin aircraft. The Phenom 300EV will be supported by Embraer’s globally top-ranked after-sales and services network.
