ANRA TECHNOLOGIES INTRODUCES VISTA TO GIVE DRONE OPERATORS GREATER AWARENESS OF NEARBY AIRSPACE ACTIVITY

The new application gives public safety agencies and enterprise drone programmes a shared view of nearby UAS activity without requiring any change to existing aircraft or flight software.

ANRA Technologies, a provider of digital airspace and mission management solutions, on 14 October 2026 introduced ANRA VISTA, short for Visual Interface for Shared Traffic Awareness, a new application that gives public safety agencies, enterprise drone programmes and other authorised operators greater awareness of nearby drone activity. VISTA presents available flight intent and position information from UAS Traffic Management (UTM) services through a visual interface, intended to help operators make better-informed decisions before and during flight.

ANRA said the tool addresses a growing challenge as drone delivery, Drone as First Responder (DFR) programmes, infrastructure inspections and other commercial operations expand: more aircraft from different organisations are increasingly sharing the same low-altitude airspace, and while UTM services coordinate these operations, individual drone operators may have limited awareness of nearby activity managed by other organisations. VISTA makes shared UTM information accessible without requiring operators to change their existing aircraft or flight applications; the receive-only application does not connect aircraft to UTM or submit flight plans, instead providing an additional layer of situational awareness operators can consult before takeoff and during missions.

“As more organizations operate drones in the same airspace, knowing what else may be flying nearby becomes increasingly important,” said Amit Ganjoo, founder and CEO of ANRA Technologies. “VISTA makes shared airspace information easier to access and understand without requiring operators to change how they fly. It’s a practical way to improve awareness as drone operations continue to scale.”

ANRA said VISTA is designed to provide organisations operating in shared airspace with nearby operational awareness, allowing them to view available information about drone flight intentions and reported positions around a mission area; simple airspace visualisation, presenting shared operational information in a format operators can quickly interpret; preflight and in-flight awareness, letting operators check relevant drone activity before launch and maintain awareness as a mission progresses; and operational flexibility, accessing shared airspace information without replacing aircraft, flight applications or existing operational systems. For public safety agencies, the company said VISTA can provide greater awareness of other drone operations near emergency scenes, helping DFR teams make informed decisions while responding to incidents, while utilities, infrastructure operators and commercial drone programmes can use the application to gain additional visibility into activity around inspections and maintenance missions.

Note: VISTA builds on ANRA’s experience supporting high-volume drone operations through its UTM platform, which the company says currently supports approximately one drone mission every 15 seconds during daytime operations, with more than 20 organisations, primarily DFR programmes, already using its visualisation capability.
