EMBRAER AND AUSTRIAN AIRLINES SIGN COMPONENT POOL PROGRAM AGREEMENT FOR E-JETS FLEET

The agreement covers Austrian Airlines’ fleet of 13 E195 aircraft, providing access to component support solutions covering more than 300 aircraft components.

Embraer and Austrian Airlines have entered into a Component Pool Program agreement covering the airline’s fleet of currently 13 E195 aircraft, the company said in Amsterdam on 29 October 2026. The agreement provides access to comprehensive component support solutions aimed at maintaining high levels of fleet availability, covering more than 300 aircraft components and including advanced exchange, repair and overhaul services.

“Our Pool Program is designed to simplify component management while helping operators maximise aircraft availability and reduce maintenance-related costs. We are pleased to support Austrian Airlines with a solution that combines inventory access, repair capabilities and technical expertise, allowing the airline to focus on delivering an outstanding travel experience,” said Carlos Naufel, President and CEO, Embraer Services & Support.

Embraer’s Pool Program offers comprehensive component support to airlines worldwide, leveraging the company’s technical expertise and services network; the company says the programme delivers savings and economies in component repair and inventory holding costs, reduces warehousing needs, and operates within a framework of guaranteed performance levels.

Note: Embraer says it has delivered more than 9,000 aircraft since its founding in 1969, with an Embraer-built aircraft taking off somewhere in the world roughly every 10 seconds, transporting over 150 million passengers a year.
