AIR TANZANIA EXTENDS PARTNERSHIP WITH APG TO 13 NEW MARKETS

Air Tanzania has significantly expanded its global reach by extending its partnership with APG, a leading provider of airline representation and distribution services. This strategic move follows a comprehensive RFP process and will see APG representing Air Tanzania in 13 new markets: Austria, Belgium, Egypt, Ivory Coast, Kuwait, Nigeria, Pakistan, Portugal, Qatar, Rwanda, Saudi Arabia, Yemen, and Ukraine.

Effective immediately, this partnership aims to enhance Air Tanzania’s global sales network and market presence. Richard Burgess, President of APG Network, expressed enthusiasm about the expansion, stating, “We are delighted to extend our partnership with Air Tanzania into these key markets. This collaboration aligns perfectly with APG’s mission to deliver easy accessibility to global markets for our airline partners. We look forward to leveraging our extensive network and expertise to support Air Tanzania’s sales growth and enhance customer service across these regions.”

Founded in 1977, Air Tanzania serves as the national carrier of Tanzania, connecting the country with important regional and international destinations. This extension of their partnership with APG will bolster the airline’s ability to offer reliable and comfortable travel experiences to a broader audience.

With over 30 years of experience and more than 100 offices globally, APG is the largest and most successful airline representation network worldwide. Partnering with over 200 airlines, APG offers comprehensive services including airline representation, interline e-ticketing solutions, fare filing, and settlement support, all designed to maximize an airline’s revenue potential. APG continues to lead in distribution development with its latest APG NDC Platform, aimed at unlocking the benefits of NDC distribution for airlines.
