APOC Aviation has announced a strengthened senior leadership team as part of its long-term growth strategy, introducing key executive appointments across finance, commercial, technology and operations.
Company announces senior management appointments as business expansion continues
THE NETHERLANDS – APOC Aviation has announced a series of senior management appointments as part of a broader investment in its organisational capabilities to support planned business growth. The company said the changes are designed to strengthen its leadership structure alongside continued investment in staff, infrastructure and operational development.
LEADERSHIP TEAM EXPANDED
Chief Executive Officer Gavin Simmonds will continue in his current role, providing strategic leadership for the group. Joining the executive leadership team are Robert Van Oeveren as Financial Director (FD) and Craig Skilton as Chief Commercial Officer (CCO).
Van Oeveren will oversee APOC’s financing strategy, infrastructure and resources to support the company’s planned expansion, while Skilton assumes responsibility for commercial operations, business development and marketing activities across the organisation.
STRATEGIC APPOINTMENTS SUPPORT GROWTH
Karolis Jurkevičius has been appointed Senior Vice President, Landing Gear & Major Assets, taking responsibility for major asset transactions while continuing to lead APOC’s expanding landing gear division and its Vilnius, Lithuania, operation.
The company has also established its first presence in Dublin, Ireland, with the appointment of Paul Shanley. Based in Dublin, Shanley will focus on capital deployment for new asset acquisitions and the optimisation of APOC’s corporate structure, supporting the company’s continued expansion into aviation finance markets.
FOCUS ON TECHNOLOGY AND OPERATIONS
Tim Zurawski has assumed the expanded role of Vice President, Strategy, Data & Technology. His responsibilities include the company’s IT infrastructure, digital transformation initiatives, data capabilities and the increased use of predictive technologies, including artificial intelligence, to enhance business intelligence and operational insights.
Ian Foster, Vice President MRO & Technical, will take on broader responsibility for warehouse operations, logistics, maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO), quality and technical departments, with an emphasis on maintaining operational standards and quality assurance.
INVESTING IN LONG-TERM DEVELOPMENT
Commenting on the appointments, Simmonds said the leadership changes represent the largest organisational step forward in the company’s recent history, increasing accountability across the business while positioning APOC to pursue future strategic opportunities.
Headquartered in the Netherlands, APOC Aviation specialises in the acquisition, trading and leasing of aircraft, engines, landing gear and component assets, with operations across Europe and Singapore. The company primarily supports Airbus and Boeing narrowbody aircraft, while also serving Embraer and ATR platforms.
