ARCHER OUTLINES VISION FOR MIAMI AIR TAXI NETWORK WITH NEW INFRASTRUCTURE PARTNERSHIPS

Archer Aviation unveils plans for a Miami air taxi network with new vertiport partnerships, offering fast, low-noise electric flights connecting major South Florida cities and airports.

Miami, FL – 3 December 2025 — Archer Aviation has unveiled plans for an air taxi network across the Miami metropolitan area, outlining a system designed to offer fast, low-noise electric flights between major population and commercial centres. The network aims to provide ten to twenty minute connections between Miami, Fort Lauderdale, Boca Raton and West Palm Beach, significantly reducing journey times when compared with road travel and helping passengers avoid the region’s heavy traffic.

The proposed network is also intended to enhance connectivity between Miami International Airport, Fort Lauderdale–Hollywood International Airport and Palm Beach International Airport, as well as several general aviation airports. Archer is working with key real estate and infrastructure partners to prepare existing helipads and develop new vertiports to support the rollout.

As part of this effort, Related Ross plans to partner with Archer to deliver a vertiport within its West Palm Beach downtown development, positioning the site as a premium mobility hub in a rapidly expanding commercial district. Existing helipads at Hard Rock Stadium and Apogee Golf Club will be adapted for electric operations, allowing both destinations to integrate into the network. Hard Rock Stadium hosts major sporting and entertainment events including the NFL’s Miami Dolphins, the University of Miami Hurricanes, the Formula 1 Crypto.com Miami Grand Prix and the Miami Open presented by Itau.

In Miami’s Little Haiti, Dragon Global’s Magic City Innovation District intends to develop a vertiport to support the introduction of air taxis into one of the city’s most ambitious mixed-use technology and innovation precincts.

Miami Mayor Francis Suarez welcomed the initiative, noting that the city has long embraced breakthrough technology and transformative mobility solutions. Stephen Ross, CEO and Chairman of Related Ross, described the partnership as a significant step forward in improving regional connectivity through advanced electric vertical take-off and landing operations. Mayor Daniella Levine Cava added that next-generation electric aircraft would help to ease congestion, reduce emissions and support a more inclusive transport network. Jordan Rathlev, Executive Vice President of Related Ross, said the project positions South Florida as a leader in future mobility.

Bob Zangrillo, Founder of Dragon Global, said the Magic City Innovation District is being shaped as a next-generation hub for culture, technology and mobility, and that integrating air taxis supports the development of a multimodal, future-ready transport ecosystem for the region.

Archer’s Midnight aircraft is a piloted four-seat design built for rapid turnarounds with minimal charging time. The company believes Midnight can replace commutes of up to ninety minutes by car with sustainable and cost-competitive electric flights lasting between ten and twenty minutes.
