Atech, part of the Embraer Group, will present its latest Air Traffic Management (ATM) and Unmanned Traffic Management (UTM) technologies at Airspace World 2026 from 26 to 28 May.
The company will demonstrate a portfolio of digital platforms aimed at supporting Air Navigation Service Providers (ANSPs) as the aviation sector moves toward increasingly integrated, interoperable, and data-driven airspace management systems.
NEXT-GENERATION ATM MODERNISATION
Among the technologies being presented is Atech’s SingleATM Platform, designed to host mission-critical ATM and UTM systems within an open-architecture environment. The platform supports service-based and microservice-driven ATM applications, with the stated objective of reducing development, integration, testing, and maintenance complexity for ANSPs.
The company will also demonstrate its Integrated Flight Plan and Flow Management System (IFPFMS), aligned with FF-ICE/R1 standards. The system combines flight plan validation, aeronautical information service (AIS) authorisations, and air traffic flow management (ATFM) decision support into a single operational environment.
According to Atech, the system is intended to improve coordination between airlines, airports, and flow management entities while supporting the aviation industry’s gradual transition toward trajectory-based operations.
FOCUS ON UNMANNED TRAFFIC MANAGEMENT
In the unmanned aviation segment, Atech will present its UTM Platform, developed to support the integration of drone traffic into civil airspace environments.
The platform is intended to connect operational stakeholders within a digital ecosystem to support urban drone operations and future smart city mobility concepts while maintaining interoperability and operational oversight.
Marcos Resende, ATM Business Director at Atech, said the company’s focus is on technologies that address the operational and infrastructure challenges associated with modernising air navigation systems.
FF-ICE TRANSITION DISCUSSION
As part of the event programme, Atech ATM Business Developer Edson Fagundes will present a session titled “FF-ICE: Are you ready for 2034?”, examining the aviation sector’s transition toward the next generation of collaborative flight and flow information management processes.
