Aviator signs a three-year agreement with Wizz Air to provide ground handling and de-icing services at eight airports in Norway, strengthening Nordic operations and service reliability.
December, 2025 – Aviator, a full-range provider of aviation services at 15 airports across the Nordics and part of Avia Solutions Group, has signed a three-year agreement with Wizz Air to provide ground handling and de-icing services at eight airports in Norway. The contract, which begins on 13 January 2026, strengthens the ongoing partnership between the airline and Aviator in the Nordic region.
The agreement covers Ålesund Airport (AES), Bergen Airport (BGO), Bodø Airport (BOO), Haugesund Airport (HAU), Kristiansand Airport (KRS), Stavanger Airport (SVG), Tromsø Airport (TOS), and Trondheim Airport (TRD). Although no flights are currently planned for Bodø or Kristiansand, the contract includes provisions for potential future services at these locations.

The agreement builds on existing collaborations between Aviator and Wizz Air in Denmark and Sweden, including Copenhagen Airport (CPH), Stockholm Arlanda Airport (ARN), Gothenburg Landvetter Airport (GOT), and Malmö Airport (MMX). Kristof Filemon, Airport Development Manager at Wizz Air, commented: “Their safety-first approach, high quality levels, and reliability provide the foundation we need to support and further develop our operations across Norway.”
Wizz Air, Europe’s third-largest low-cost carrier by passenger volume, flew 62.7 million passengers last year, offering connections across Europe, North Africa, the Middle East, and Central Asia.
