BELL TEAMS UP WITH INDUSTRY LEADERS FOR U.S. ARMY’S FLIGHT SCHOOL NEXT PROGRAM

Nashville, TN – May 14, 2025 – Bell Textron Inc., a Textron Inc. (NYSE:TXT) company, has announced the signing of Memorandums of Understanding (MOUs) with V2X, DigiFlight, Delaware Resource Group (DRG), and TRU Simulation — a Textron Aviation affiliate — marking a strategic alliance for the development of a comprehensive training solution for the U.S. Army’s Flight School Next program.

The collaboration brings together a powerhouse of experience in military aviation, simulation, logistics, and digital training technologies. With this partnership, Bell aims to deliver an advanced, low-risk, and high-performing aviator training system tailored to meet the evolving demands of the U.S. Army.

“Bell has been a trusted provider of military pilot training since 1946,” said Jeff Schloesser, Executive Vice President, Strategic Pursuits at Bell. “This group of companies represents a collective commitment to delivering a trusted, high-performing, technologically advanced, and low-risk aviator training program to the Army customer that will ensure they are prepared for dynamic and challenging combat environments.”

The Bell 505, the centrepiece of the proposed training solution, is a highly capable five-seat aircraft engineered for reliability and modern instruction. Outfitted with a fully integrated Garmin G1000H NXi avionics suite and powered by a Safran Arrius 2R engine with dual-channel FADEC, the Bell 505 meets the stringent technical and operational requirements for training next-generation military pilots.

Bell and its new collaborators bring decades of institutional knowledge, innovation, and successful partnerships to the table — factors that will be crucial in supporting the Army’s vision for the future of rotary-wing pilot training.
