Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia – ExecuJet MRO Services Malaysia, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Dassault Aviation, has secured approval from the Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC) to conduct both line and base maintenance on Chinese-registered Falcon 7X and Falcon 2000EX EASy aircraft.
This certification grants ExecuJet Malaysia the capability to perform comprehensive base maintenance checks, including 4C checks—the most extensive and rigorous inspections required for these aircraft models.
The CAAC’s approval marks a significant milestone for ExecuJet MRO Services Malaysia, as it is the first time the company has been authorised to maintain China-registered Falcon aircraft. In addition, the regulator has renewed the company’s certification as an approved maintenance organisation for Bombardier and Gulfstream aircraft.
ExecuJet Malaysia previously received CAAC authorisation in 2019 to carry out line and heavy maintenance for Gulfstream GIV, Bombardier Challenger, and Bombardier Global Express series aircraft.
With nearly 300 business jets, China remains the largest business aviation market in the Asia-Pacific region. The growing economic ties between China and ASEAN countries have led to a rise in Chinese-registered business jets operating within Southeast Asia, making Malaysia a strategic hub for maintenance services.
“The fact that China is such a big market for business aviation and one that is in close proximity to Malaysia means it is an ideal market for us to target,” said Ivan Lim, Regional Vice President for Asia at ExecuJet MRO Services. “We are seeing an increasing number of Chinese-registered business jets flying to Malaysia and other parts of Southeast Asia. As a factory-owned Falcon service center with a world-class facility and a workforce that includes fluent Mandarin speakers, we are well-positioned to serve Chinese operators.”
