COMMERCIAL UAV EXPO 2026 TO EXPAND DRONE EDUCATION PROGRAMME

Commercial UAV Expo 2026 and Pilot Institute have announced an expanded Pilot Hub education programme focused on drone operations, safety, and business development.

Pilot Hub sessions to focus on operational skills and business development

Commercial UAV Expo and Pilot Institute have announced the full Pilot Hub programme for Commercial UAV Expo 2026, scheduled to take place from 1–3 September at Caesars Forum in Las Vegas.

Developed in partnership with Pilot Institute, the Pilot Hub will operate as a dedicated theatre space within the exhibition hall, offering educational sessions focused on drone operations, safety, technical skills, and business development for commercial drone pilots.

Industry-focused training content

According to organisers, the programme content was shaped through a joint survey conducted among commercial drone operators, identifying demand for practical business guidance, technical training, and specialist operational skills.

Greg Reverdiau, Co-Founder of Pilot Institute, said the sessions are intended to provide practical instruction delivered by experienced operators.

The 2026 Pilot Hub programme will include sessions covering revenue growth strategies, drone photography standards, thermography operations, aviation safety culture in unmanned aircraft systems, construction site safety procedures, enterprise drone programme deployment, and data processing workflows.

Access for all attendees

Commercial UAV Expo stated that access to the Pilot Hub sessions will be included with all event pass categories at no additional cost.

The event is organised by Commercial UAV News and focuses on commercial unmanned aircraft systems integration and operations.

Pilot Institute stated that it currently provides more than 60 aviation and drone-related online courses and has trained over 445,000 drone and aviation pilots in the United States.
