DAHER AIRCRAFT AND GAMA OPEN INTERNATIONAL INTERNSHIP FOR A THIRD YEAR

Daher Aircraft and the General Aviation Manufacturers Association (GAMA) have once again launched their unique international internship program, offering students from France and North America the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the aviation industry. Now in its third year, the program is accepting applications for the summer of 2025.

A Global Learning Experience

This prestigious internship selects two students from North America and two from France, providing them with an eight-week immersive experience at Daher Aircraft’s production and assembly facilities on both sides of the Atlantic.

  • North American participants will travel to Tarbes, France, home to Daher’s headquarters and the TBM 960 airplane assembly line.
  • French students will head to Sandpoint, Idaho, where the Kodiak 100 and 900 aircraft are produced.

The program concludes with all four interns joining Daher teams at the EAA AirVenture air show in Oshkosh, Wisconsin, one of the aviation industry’s most iconic events.

Cultivating Future Leaders

“With the aviation sector facing unprecedented challenges, we recognize the importance of preparing the next generation to lead it into the future,” said Nicolas Chabbert, Daher Aircraft’s CEO. “I was extremely impressed with the maturity and perspective of the interns who participated during the past two years, and I look forward to this new opportunity in 2025.”

Pete Bunce, President and CEO of GAMA, emphasized the program’s significance:
“General aviation is a dynamic and global industry, and these internships provide incredible opportunities to foster and advance the careers of our future workforce leaders. Through this unique program, we are exposing our decision-makers of tomorrow to the international nature of state-of-the-art manufacturing technology and processes.”
