WOOD DALE, ILLINOIS — June 2025: In a strategic move to modernize its maintenance operations, Delta TechOps has selected Trax, a wholly-owned subsidiary of AAR CORP. (NYSE: AIR), to overhaul its maintenance and engineering systems. The shift to digital will begin with Trax’s eMRO and eMobility solutions, setting a new benchmark in aviation maintenance technology.
With more than 6,000 Delta TechOps line maintenance technicians expected to use the system at launch, this large-scale deployment will digitize core processes, enhance data accuracy, and improve operational efficiency across Delta’s maintenance network. The collaboration signals a major transition away from legacy systems and toward a mobile, cloud-based infrastructure hosted on the Trax Cloud.
“AAR’s strategic investments in Trax have enabled the company to scale to support the largest airlines and most diverse fleets,” said John M. Holmes, AAR’s Chairman, President and CEO. “We are grateful to Delta for selecting Trax and look forward to powering their system modernisation.”
The initial implementation will serve as the foundation for future rollouts of additional Trax modules in areas such as heavy maintenance, engineering, maintenance planning, and quality management.
“We are confident Trax will enhance our operational efficiency by streamlining maintenance processes across Delta TechOps, enabling our people to focus on delivering the Delta Difference,” said John Laughter, President of Delta TechOps.
Trax is globally recognised for its advanced aviation maintenance technology, offering tools such as digital signatures, paperless workflows, RFID-enabled logistics, biometric security, and full offline functionality. With a robust suite of eMRO and eMobility products, Trax continues to transform how airlines manage aircraft maintenance worldwide.
