EASA’s Annual Safety Conference 2024 will take place as an in-person event in Budapest, Hungary on October 30-31.
The theme for the conference is “Safety – technology – and the human dimension”. The event is being held in conjunction with Hungary’s EU presidency and in cooperation with the Hungarian Civil Aviation Authority.
High-level speakers from all aviation domains and aviation authorities will share their experiences and exchange strategic views on how technological developments can further enhance aviation safety, while recognising the criticality of the human dimension for safe operations.
The conference will address current hot topics, such as runway safety and interference with Global Navigation Satellite Systems (GNSSs), as well as the safety aspect of longer-term strategic concepts, such as Artificial Intelligence (AI), extended Minimum Crew Operations (eMCO), and innovation for sustainability.
