São José dos Campos, Brazil, January 28, 2025 – Embraer has officially opened registration for its Social Tech Careers program, an inclusive, free-of-charge technology training initiative designed to foster diversity in the tech industry. Exclusively available to women and individuals with disabilities, the program offers 70 spots for participants eager to advance their skills in data analysis and beginner-friendly programming techniques.
The initiative is part of Embraer’s broader commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion. “The market is increasingly seeking more skilled individuals in the technology field, and more professionals are interested in working with data science,” said Andreza Alberto, Embraer’s Vice President of People, ESG, and Corporate Communications. “With Social Tech, we hope to contribute to increasing the pool of these professionals and meet the growing demand from companies. At the same time, the course encourages diversity in the technology field, enabling people from different backgrounds to expand their skills in this highly relevant area.”
Program Details
Organised in partnership with the edtech company SoulCode, the Social Tech Careers program provides an intensive, practical curriculum. Participants will gain hands-on experience with low-code platforms, programming languages such as Python, and tools like Power BI for dashboard creation.
The classes will run from March to June 2025, offered in a live, online format, Monday through Thursday, from 7 PM to 10 PM. Registration is open until March 9, with applicants required to complete a selection process, including logic and basic computer tests, a personal introduction video, and a group activity.
Of the 70 spots, 60 are open to the general public, while the remaining 10 are reserved for Embraer employees. Successful candidates will not only gain new skills but also join Embraer Group’s talent pool, significantly enhancing their career prospects.

Since its inception in 2021, Social Tech Careers has trained over 1,600 professionals across four editions, focusing on underrepresented groups, including women, people with disabilities, and Black/Brown individuals.
