The new package offers shopping, dining and leisure discounts across six Thai cities, with connections via Dubai from Nairobi, Johannesburg, Cape Town and Durban.
Emirates Holidays has launched the Thailand Pass, offering customers travelling to and through Thailand exclusive discounts of up to 40% on shopping, dining and leisure activities, with no minimum spend. Travellers in Kenya and South Africa can reach Thailand via Dubai: Emirates operates 21 weekly flights between Nairobi and Dubai, and 56 weekly flights between Dubai and Johannesburg, Cape Town and Durban combined, each with onward connections to Bangkok and Phuket. Emirates Holidays customers redeem their offers by presenting vouchers and a passport at participating malls and outlets across six Thai cities, including shopping and dining vouchers, discounted attraction tickets and complimentary shuttle and lounge access at two Bangkok venues.
The launch builds on Emirates’ continued investment in the route: the airline has recently deployed Airbus A350 aircraft to Phuket and operates retrofitted Airbus A380 and Boeing 777 aircraft with new Premium Economy cabins to Bangkok, flying 49 weekly flights to Thailand in total. Thailand remains one of Emirates Holidays’ most popular destinations, with bookings up 10% year-on-year. The Thailand Pass is available on package bookings made until 31 March 2027, with a flexible cancellation policy and the option to secure a trip with a deposit; customers in Kenya and South Africa can book through participating travel agencies, with further details available on the Emirates Holidays website.
