ETHIOPIAN AIRLINES TO LAUNCH NEW SERVICE TO LYON, FRANCE VIA GENEVA

Thrice-weekly flights connecting Addis Ababa to Lyon via Geneva expand Ethiopian Airlines’ French network to three destinations and strengthen Africa–Europe connectivity.

Ethiopian Airlines will launch a new thrice-weekly passenger service from Addis Ababa to Lyon, France, via Geneva, Switzerland, starting 2 July 2026. The new route expands the airline’s network in France to three destinations, alongside Paris and Marseille, enhancing connectivity between Africa and Europe.

Ethiopian Airlines operates flights to more than 160 passenger and cargo destinations worldwide, bridging Europe and Africa with a modern fleet including Boeing 737s, 777s, 787s, Airbus A350-900 and A350-1000, and De Havilland Q400 aircraft. The airline continues to expand globally with recent new destinations in Europe, Africa, the Middle East, and Asia.
