SÃO PAULO, Brazil — October, 2025: Eve Air Mobility (NYSE: EVEX, EVEXW; B3: EVEB31), in partnership with InvestSP, held a strategic summit in São Paulo to accelerate the implementation of electric vertical take-off and landing (eVTOL) operations in Brazil.
The event brought together government authorities, regulatory, environmental and safety agencies, as well as industry operators, to discuss key steps toward launching commercial eVTOL services by 2027. Central themes included regulation, vertiport and charging infrastructure, and workforce training within the Urban Air Mobility (UAM) sector.
“This meeting reinforces our commitment to working side by side with authorities and strategic partners to enable the safe and efficient operation of eVTOL in Brazil,” said Johann Bordais, CEO of Eve Air Mobility. “We are advancing not only in aircraft development but also in building a complete ecosystem that includes infrastructure, regulation and workforce training in the Urban Air Mobility industry.”
Eve’s eVTOL aircraft will be produced in Taubaté (SP), at a facility capable of manufacturing up to 480 units per year. The company has already secured around 2,800 global orders, including firm commitments and letters of intent, valued at approximately US$14 billion. Designed to carry five occupants—one pilot and four passengers—the aircraft has a range of up to 100 kilometres, supporting short-distance intra-urban and regional missions.
“Eve chose the right location for eVTOL production: the state with the largest economy in the country, excellent infrastructure, a skilled workforce and a business environment favourable to innovation,” said Thiago Camargo, Executive Vice President of InvestSP. “Our goal now is to promote strategic integration between the public and private sectors to ensure that operations are safe, viable and sustainable.”
Eve projects a significant reduction in travel times along key urban routes, such as the journey between São Paulo’s southern zone and Guarulhos International Airport, which could drop from 150 minutes by land to about 15 minutes by eVTOL.
“The eVTOL has the potential to transform not only passenger transport but also sectors such as tourism, public safety and healthcare,” added Luiz Mauad, Vice President of Customer Services at Eve. “The ability to rapidly transport organs for transplants, for instance, could save lives and redefine efficiency standards in major cities.”
Through its collaboration with InvestSP, Eve Air Mobility continues to drive Brazil’s leadership in the emerging eVTOL market, combining advanced technology with sustainable, accessible air mobility solutions.
