Eve Air Mobility has conducted a demonstration flight of its full-scale eVTOL engineering prototype for Brazilian government authorities at Embraer’s Gavião Peixoto facility.
Flight test campaign progress
The company reported that the prototype has completed 35 flights since its first flight in December 2025, accumulating approximately 1.5 hours of total flight time.
Â
Flights to date have focused on low-speed operations of up to 15 knots, supporting validation of control systems, rotor aerodynamics, propulsion behaviour and thermal performance.
Â
Performance observations
According to the company, the aircraft reached an altitude of 140 feet above ground level during testing.
Â
Preliminary data indicates that propulsion and battery performance have exceeded initial expectations, while noise levels remain within projected limits.
Â
Testing scope expansion
Eve stated that it is progressing towards expanding the flight envelope, with planned tests at speeds of up to 30 knots.
Ground testing, including sensor calibration for aerodynamic load measurement, has also been completed.
Â
Certification and regulatory context
The company confirmed that certification remains subject to completion of technical milestones and approval by relevant regulatory authorities.
Â
Eve is also participating in regulatory development, including a public consultation process contributing to Brazil’s National Urban Air Mobility Policy.
