EXECUJET MRO SERVICES MALAYSIA GAINS CERTIFICATION TO MAINTAIN BOMBARDIER AIRCRAFT IN TAIWAN

ExecuJet MRO Services Malaysia, a subsidiary of Dassault Aviation, has received approval from the Taiwan Civil Aviation Administration (CAA) to operate as an overseas repair station for line and base maintenance on Taiwanese-registered Bombardier aircraft. This marks ExecuJet’s first expansion into the Taiwanese market and strengthens its footprint in Asia.

The certification allows ExecuJet to perform both line maintenance and heavy maintenance checks on a variety of Bombardier aircraft. This includes checks up to and including the 96-month maintenance interval for the Bombardier Challenger 604 and 605 series, as well as checks up to and including the 120-month interval for the Bombardier Global series, which includes the Global Express, Global XRS, Global 5000, Global 5500, Global 6000, and Global 6500 models.

This approval is a significant milestone, given that it is the first time ExecuJet MRO Services Malaysia has been authorised to maintain Taiwan-registered aircraft. Taiwan represents a growing market in the region, with approximately 30 business jets in operation.

In addition to airframe maintenance, the Taiwan CAA has granted ExecuJet approval to perform engine line maintenance, including parts and engine replacements. ExecuJet is also authorised to carry out non-destructive testing, such as ultrasonic and eddy current inspections on airframes, further enhancing its capability and service offering.

Ivan Lim, Regional VP Asia at ExecuJet MRO Services, commented: “This approval was achieved in response to the specific needs of our Taiwanese customers, and we’re grateful for their support in liaising with the Taiwan CAA to ensure a smooth process. With maintenance slots already booked by our Taiwanese customers, this approval offers significant benefits, as our facility at Subang Airport in Malaysia is conveniently located, providing additional capacity and options for local operators.”

Taiwan’s business aviation sector continues to grow, and ExecuJet is optimistic that this certification will further strengthen its position in the region, allowing the company to provide world-class maintenance services to an expanding market.
