FIRST CESSNA SKYCOURIER IN MONGOLIA TO JOIN HUNNU AIR FLEET

The Cessna SkyCourier is set to make its debut in Mongolia, with charter operator Hunnu Air placing the first order for the twin-engine turboprop in the country. The deal includes two passenger variants of the Cessna SkyCourier and one Cessna Grand Caravan EX, with deliveries scheduled to begin in 2026.

Hunnu Air plans to deploy the aircraft to enhance domestic tourism and cargo operations across Mongolia’s vast and varied terrain. The SkyCourier, designed and produced by Textron Aviation Inc., a Textron Inc. (NYSE:TXT) company, offers versatility, reliability and the capacity to support operations from regional hubs to remote destinations.

“Designed for versatility and performance, the Cessna SkyCourier is a strong fit to support Hunnu Air’s services across Mongolia,” said Lannie O’Bannion, senior vice president, Sales & Marketing. “The increasing global popularity of the aircraft underscores its exceptional adaptability in supporting air freight, charter and special missions use cases, showcasing its broad appeal across diverse operational sectors.”

Since its founding in 2011, Hunnu Air has grown into Mongolia’s second-largest airline, offering dependable domestic and international air transport. The SkyCourier’s introduction is expected to strengthen the carrier’s VIP and charter capabilities, while supporting the growth of the country’s tourism industry by improving access to scenic and remote areas.

Textron Aviation recently marked other significant milestones for the type, including the first Canadian delivery to Air Bravo Corporation and certification of the Combi configuration by Brazil’s National Civil Aviation Agency, followed by its first delivery into South America.
