FIRST FAA STC APPROVAL FOR GOGO GALILEO HDX GRANTED TO TRIMEC FOR GULFSTREAM G200

BROOMFIELD, CO. – Gogo (NASDAQ: GOGO) has announced that the first Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) supplemental type certification (STC) for a fuselage-mounted installation of the Gogo Galileo HDX antenna has been approved. The milestone approval was awarded to Trimec Aviation following installation on a Gulfstream G200 aircraft.

The STC marks the first FAA approval in North America for the compact, electronically steered fuselage-mounted antenna (ESA), enabling Gulfstream G200 operators to access high-speed, low-latency global broadband connectivity through the Eutelsat OneWeb constellation. The flat-panel antenna also provides added redundancy to strengthen network reliability and ensure uninterrupted low-earth-orbit (LEO) coverage across all routes.

“We’re incredibly excited to receive the STC for installing the Gogo Galileo HDX system on the Gulfstream G200 platform,” said Peter Rabadi, vice president of development at Trimec Aviation. “This achievement reflects the dedication of John Holland, general manager, and our highly skilled avionics team in delivering innovative, performance-driven aircraft upgrades. The Gogo Galileo HDX opens new possibilities for G200 operators, offering enhanced situational awareness, improved reliability, and next-generation connectivity for both the flight deck and cabin.”

Trimec Aviation is offering retrofit options for the upgrade, requiring only two replaceable units: the fuselage-mounted ESA and the AVANCE SCS platform. This streamlined installation pathway enables future connectivity upgrades while protecting long-term investment value.

Chris Moore, Gogo chief executive officer, added: “Owners of the super-mid-size jet can now optimize our advanced technology solution for best-in-class connectivity through this latest STC. In addition to future-proofed connectivity, operators equipping their aircraft will benefit from added value services including live technical support, customized training, cybersecurity products, and the ability to maintain pace with future connectivity developments. We’re very pleased to have our first FAA-approved STC and expect to have several more confirmed before the end of the year, covering a wide variety of aircraft.”

Gogo remains the only multi-orbit, multi-band in-flight connectivity provider dedicated to business, government, and military aviation. Its portfolio integrates air-to-ground and high-speed satellite networks to deliver global tip-to-tail connectivity, supported by round-the-clock customer service.
