GIC International Catering has commenced a new in-flight catering partnership with Lufthansa Cargo, strengthening its footprint at Frankfurt Airport and adding a high-profile air freight customer to its portfolio. The agreement has been in effect since 1 January 2026 and currently covers eight daily intercontinental departures from Frankfurt.

 

Under the partnership, GIC provides catering services for Lufthansa Cargo pilots operating long-haul routes including Chennai, Chicago, Mumbai, Beijing, São Paulo, Shanghai and Tokyo. The collaboration reflects the demanding operational environment of cargo aviation, where tight schedules and complex logistics place particular emphasis on quality, timing and process reliability.

 

Catering for Lufthansa Cargo crews is tailored specifically to cockpit requirements. Pilots are offered a premium à la carte selection based on business class menus, complemented by additional options such as fresh club sandwiches and a variety of salads, designed to meet both comfort and operational needs on long-haul sectors.
