Savannah, Ga. – Gulfstream Aerospace Corp. has announced the delivery of two additional G700 aircraft to Qatar Executive, solidifying its reputation as a global leader in luxury aviation. These latest deliveries, made using sustainable aviation fuel (SAF), increase Qatar Executive’s G700 fleet to six, with plans to expand to a total of 10 aircraft in the near future.
Mark Burns, president of Gulfstream, praised the efficiency and reliability of the G700 program. “The unprecedented speed with which the team has been able to deliver this remarkable aircraft is a true testament to the quality and maturity of the G700 program,” Burns stated. “Qatar Executive has been a long-standing, valued partner of Gulfstream for many years, and we are pleased to continue that partnership by adding more of these exceptional aircraft to their growing fleet.”
A Benchmark in Luxury and Performance
The Gulfstream G700 boasts the most spacious cabin in the business aviation industry, complemented by the Gulfstream Cabin Experience. This includes 100% fresh air, ultra-quiet noise levels, natural light streaming through 20 Gulfstream Panoramic Oval Windows, and the industry’s lowest cabin altitude. Designed for long-range performance, the G700 can travel up to 7,750 nautical miles (14,353 km) at Mach 0.85 or 6,650 nm (12,316 km) at Mach 0.90, with a maximum operating speed of Mach 0.935 — the fastest in Gulfstream’s fleet.
This aircraft has already set over 65 city-pair speed records and holds certifications from the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), the European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA), and other aviation authorities worldwide. Its most recent certification came from Australia’s Civil Aviation Safety Authority, underscoring its global operational capability.
Qatar Executive’s Expanding Fleet
The addition of the two new G700s builds on Qatar Executive’s existing fleet of four G700s and 15 Gulfstream G650ERs. This expansion reflects the company’s commitment to offering the finest in private aviation services, aligning perfectly with Gulfstream’s innovative approach to aircraft design and performance.
Gulfstream’s Legacy of Excellence
Since its first purpose-built business aircraft, the Gulfstream I, took flight in 1958, Gulfstream Aerospace Corp. has been at the forefront of aviation innovation. Today, with over 3,200 aircraft in operation worldwide, Gulfstream remains a leader in business aviation.
The company’s lineup includes the super-midsize Gulfstream G280, the record-breaking G650 and G650ER, and the next-generation G400, G500, G600, G700, and G800 aircraft, all supported by Gulfstream’s global customer service network.
