This collaboration underscores Honeywell’s commitment to align its portfolio with key megatrends, including the energy transition.
Driving Energy Efficiency in Cold Storage
As the demand for cold storage capacity continues to surge globally, particularly in Europe, the associated energy consumption becomes a critical concern. Power costs can comprise a significant portion, ranging from 50 to 70%, of expenditures for cold storage and logistics operations. For retailers and food producers, optimising cold storage efficiency is paramount in reducing Scope 3 emissions and achieving decarbonisation objectives.
