JEKTA AND TAHSEEN AVIATION EXPLORE AMPHIBIOUS AIRCRAFT OPERATIONS ACROSS GCC

The Switzerland-based developer of the PHA-ZE 100 signs a Letter of Intent with UAE’s Tahseen Aviation Services to assess future potential for sustainable amphibious operations in the region.

Dubai, UAE – 18 November 2025: At Dubai Airshow 2025, JEKTA, the Switzerland-based developer of the zero-emissions PHA-ZE 100 amphibious aircraft, signed a Letter of Intent (LOI) with Tahseen Aviation Services, a leading UAE air charter provider, to explore the potential for amphibious aviation operations across the GCC and beyond into Africa and Asia.

The collaboration aims to jointly identify and assess opportunities to introduce amphibious operations for business aviation, cargo and logistics, and oil field services (OFS).

“The PHA-ZE 100 amphibious aircraft is designed to operate in a variety of environments, enabling multiple operating parameters,” said George Alafinov, CEO of JEKTA. “In a region as geographically and commercially diverse as the GCC, we know it will add real value to the transport network, especially as land infrastructure struggles to keep pace. Tahseen’s alignment with JEKTA opens doors to sustainable amphibious operations and integration with key regional aerospace stakeholders.”

Abdulla Almutareb, Chairman and CEO of Tahseen Aviation, added: “Our interest in working with JEKTA signals a potential future collaboration around amphibious operations. Amphibious aviation could transform regional transport networks, and our goal is to generate studies to determine where these unique aircraft offer best-fit solutions, not only in the GCC but also in emerging markets across Africa and Asia.”

The PHA-ZE 100 supports flexible operations from water, paved, and unpaved runways, making it ideal for luxury hotels, resorts, business hubs, and remote oil and gas sites. Since its launch in 2022, JEKTA has secured over USD $1.35 billion in forward commitments, with production scheduled for 2030/2031.
