MAAS Aviation has renewed its multi-year painting contract with easyJet, continuing to deliver high-quality exterior coatings for the airline’s A320 fleet at its advanced Maastricht facility.
MAAS Aviation has secured a renewed multi-year agreement with easyJet, reinforcing a long-standing partnership built on quality, efficiency and trusted performance. The extension ensures the specialist MRO will continue repainting the airline’s A320 family fleet at its Maastricht facility from the 2025/26 season.
Richard Marston, Chief Commercial Officer at MAAS Aviation, emphasised the significance of the renewed agreement: “We are proud to name easyJet as a long-term partner. The extension of their aircraft painting programme is testament to our streamlined processes which deliver aircraft finished to the highest OEM quality standards at the optimum TATs this leading operator demands.”
The collaboration, which began in 2020, has evolved into a close operational relationship. Marston notes that the experience and commitment of the MAAS team, combined with strong support from easyJet’s Engineering & Appearance Management team, has been central to the programme’s success. “We have established a strong and transparent partnership with easyJet and have regular contact to ensure complete alignment of working procedures. This allows us to deliver superior standards of painting whilst maintaining rapid turnaround times. We are very pleased to extend our relationship with easyJet and look forward to painting many more of their aircraft in the years ahead.”

A State-of-the-Art Facility in The Netherlands
MAAS Aviation’s Maastricht Aachen Airport paint shop – originally purpose-built in 1998 – underwent modernisation and expansion in 2017. Today, the site operates two fully lined, climate-controlled paint shops equipped with computerised building management systems, datalogging capability and high-lux lighting. The twin-bay facility can accommodate aircraft up to B767/A300 size.
“All MAAS Aviation facilities are EN9100, ISO9001 and ISO14001 certified and operate to the highest quality and environmental standards,” Marston added. “Our Maastricht paint shop has a wealth of experience working to and exceeding these levels.”
