Connecting Skies Bridging Continents

The National Business Aviation Association (NBAA) has announced a significant change for the 2025 Schedulers and Dispatchers Conference (SDC). Originally set for March 11-13 in Portland, Oregon, the event will now take place from March 25-27 in New Orleans, Louisiana.

The initial scheduling of the SDC clashed with Vertical Aviation International’s annual Verticon (formerly Heli-Expo), creating a dilemma for exhibitors forced to choose between the two high-profile events. By adjusting the dates, NBAA has opened up new opportunities, allowing them to relocate the conference to New Orleans, a favorite destination among attendees.

This marks the first return of the SDC to New Orleans since its 25th-anniversary celebration in January 2014. The conference is expected to attract over 400 exhibiting companies and thousands of participants, who will benefit from numerous educational sessions led by industry experts.

“NBAA’s Schedulers and Dispatchers Conference stands among the most important events on the industry’s calendar, bringing people together to gain new perspectives, to move forward in professionalism, and to enjoy the excitement of a shared passion,” said NBAA President and CEO Ed Bolen. “This adjustment positions SDC 2025 to build on the record-breaking success of recent editions of the conference.”

The NBAA is no stranger to relocating events. In 2005, the organization successfully moved its annual convention from New Orleans to Orlando, Florida, just weeks after Hurricane Katrina devastated the Gulf Coast city.
