QATAR AIRWAYS EXPANDS U.S. AND SOUTH AMERICAN CONNECTIVITY THROUGH IAG PARTNERSHIPS

Doha, Qatar – 3 October 2025. Qatar Airways has strengthened its global network by adding 18 new U.S. routes and expanded South American access through enhanced codeshare agreements with Aer Lingus and LEVEL, both members of the International Airlines Group (IAG).

Following the success of its 2024 codeshare launch with Aer Lingus, Qatar Airways now shares code on flights from Dublin Airport to 11 U.S. destinations, including Boston, Bradley International (Connecticut), Cleveland, Indianapolis, Minneapolis, Nashville, Newark, Orlando, Philadelphia, and soon Las Vegas.

 

Meanwhile, Qatar Airways has reintroduced its codeshare partnership with LEVEL at Barcelona-El Prat Airport, connecting passengers to Boston, Los Angeles, Miami, New York, San Francisco, Buenos Aires, and soon Santiago, providing seamless access to North and South American destinations.

The expanded partnership enhances Qatar Airways’ award-winning service in the Americas and Europe, enabling travellers in these regions to access over 170 destinations worldwide via Hamad International Airport, recently voted Best Airport in the Middle East 2025 by Skytrax.

 

Aer Lingus Chief Customer Officer, Susanne Carberry, highlighted the benefits of Dublin Airport’s U.S. Pre-Clearance facility, allowing passengers to clear immigration before departure. She added:

“We look forward to welcoming new customers on board through our partnership with Qatar Airways, providing our renowned Irish hospitality and the comfort of our Airbus A321 XLR fleet.”

 

LEVEL’s Chief Commercial and Network Officer, Lucía Adrover, said:

“Our re-introduced partnership with Qatar Airways strengthens Barcelona’s long-haul connectivity, linking the Middle East and Asia with the Americas via a seamless travel experience.”

 

Qatar Airways’ latest enhancements form part of its broader codeshare portfolio across IAG carriers—including British Airways, Iberia, LEVEL, and Vueling—solidifying its European market position.
