A line of helicopters for effective emergency services at IDEX-2025. The exposition includes the latest modification of the Ka-32A11M firefighting helicopter and two Ansats – in ambulance and police versions. The holding company will also demonstrate the Mi-38 in a VIP configuration.
The light multipurpose Ansat is mass-produced at the Kazan Helicopter Plant of the Russian Helicopters holding company. These machines are well known not only in Russia but also abroad due to their high efficiency in rescuing and evacuating patients.
The helicopter has the most spacious cabin in its class — it accommodates a full-fledged resuscitation module without hindering the work of medical workers.
Ansats have proven themselves to be reliable, fast and highly maneuverable machines. Another advantage is their high takeoff readiness and the ability to land on small unequipped sites, for example, on highways, as well as in urban areas. These qualities make the machine attractive for various services, which is why a police modification of the helicopter is also presented at IDEX.
The Ka-32A11M is the latest version of one of the best fire-fighting helicopters in the world.
The Ka-32 is characterised by ease of piloting, high maneuverability and stability in hovering mode. The machine remains effective in fighting fires in any climatic conditions, and successfully operates at extremely high and low temperatures. At the same time, the helicopter can be used for horizontal fire extinguishing in high-rise buildings, even in dense urban areas, which is especially important for the UAE.
The VIP version of the Mi-38 ensures passenger comfort and safety even in difficult conditions, during long-distance flights. The helicopter is equipped with two Russian TV7-117V engines with dust protection devices that protect the engines from sand during flights over the desert. This is important for countries in the Middle East, such as the UAE. Depending on the equipment, the Mi-38 can perform a variety of tasks. For example, it can become “aircraft number 1” in the aviation detachment of the head of state, transport passengers, cargo, including wheeled vehicles. In the VIP configuration, the aircraft is equipped to transport 14 passengers accompanied by a flight attendant. In the passenger version, the Mi-38 is the leader in its class in capacity – it can carry up to 30 people. In the transport version, the helicopter can also carry up to 5 tons of cargo in the transport cabin.
